As an advocate for slow fashion, we want our customers to be able to wear Elegnano shoes for many many years. We develop classic designs that never really go out of style. We stay away from short-term trends or hypes. However, that doesn't mean we don't keep an eye on fashion trends at all. We want to encourage people to buy shoes and clothes that will be "on trend" for many seasons while having more options than only wearing black, beige, brown, and white classics.
We attended Milan Fashion Week this September. The trends for the next two seasons were presented here. Fashion Week and shoe fair TheMICAM presented products for Spring-Summer 25, while the materials fairs for the footwear industry that were going on at the same time, presented the trends for Autumn-Winter 25-26. Below, we summarized the footwear trends for you so that you can turn your next shopping spree into a great wardrobe investment.
Color
Color is probably one of the first things people think about in the context of what's on trend in fashion. We don't shy away from the use of color in our collections either. Here are the major trends:
Fall-Winter 2025-2026
A strong emphasis on deep, contrasting pallets, with muted tones like grayish blues, browns, and greens giving way to blacks and whites.
Occasional luminous hues like crimson red and burnt orange.
Red and black, a classic high-intensity combination, will be on trend, sometimes reinterpreted with softer tones, like softer flesh pinks, earthy browns, and deep maroon.
Other contrasts come from metallic highlights (more accessories or trims)
Shades that evolve over time are also popular, reflecting a conscious approach to sustainable fashion, with a focus on recycled materials and natural finishes.
Elegnano Shopping Recommendations for Fall and Winter:
Earthy Browns & Burnt Orange
Red & Black
Flesh Pink (with subtle metallic trim)
Spring-Summer 2025
Lighter hues of the traditional colors
Soft/Muted pastels and warm neutrals dominate SS: sage green, soft beige, terracotta
Accent colors in rich jewel tones (gold/yellow, sapphire/blue, ruby/red) or earthy tints (terracotta, khaki, sage, beige, etc.) provide contrast and depth.
Nature/Sustainability themes (greens, sand beige, terracotta, blues, browns)
